Incredibly, we found a link to the House of Windsor! Now everybody in the database who is still alive is in line for the throne. I conservatively estimate that there are at least one million people alive that are more closely related to Queen Elisabeth than me, and I wouldn't be shocked if the true number is more like 10 million or even more, but that's better than nothing.

If you want to find your own link to Queen Elisabeth, search for "von England". We also have Queen Victoria and other assorted European royalty, so take your pick!

Almost exactly a year later comes the 2009 update. Now with 26000 individuals and counting!

There has been more than one update since last year, but I don't write something about it every time.
